Maximizer products are specially designed concrete mixes that have been developed with the resources of our parent company VCNA to maximize specific placing and performance characteristics. Maximizer products may contain fibers, additives, admixtures and alternative cementing materials, depending on the application. All Maximizer products have been rigorously tested to achieve the best results in our local regions.

Maximizer products include:

EkoCrete: a ready mixed concrete which uses a “greener” blend of portland cement and fly ash to replace 20 to 33% of the normal Portland cement in a standard mix while providing superior finishing quality and durability. EkoCrete can help you to meet LEED criteria in projects looking for LEED certification.

Fibermax: In nearly every area of comparison, Fibermax™ reinforced concrete is an improvement over traditional reinforced concrete methods. During mixing,  Fibermax monofilament synthetic fibers transform into fibers with fibrilates at the ends. These super strong fibrils act as anchors in the concrete. With thousands more fibers per cubic yard than steel, Fibermax outperforms steel fibers for plastic shrinkage crack resistance and is much more workable and easier to finish.

Fibermax can be used to replace welded wire fabric (WWF) and even #3 or #4 rebar in some applications. Fibermax will not rust, doesn’t need storage space, or time and manpower to place and cut...and Fibermax won’t poke you in the eye. Unlike steel reinforcement, there’s no extra labor or time involved for installation. Fibermax fibers are added to the mix right at the plant ensuring consistent quality.

Redi-Fill: Compacting soil backfill or filling hard-to-reach locations is tough work. Redi-Fill™ is a free flowing, self-leveling cementitious mix that eliminates the need for compaction, easily reaches hard to access areas, reduces in-place costs, fills holes in the ground quickly and virtually eliminates call back hassles because of soil settlement. 

Unlike compacted fill, Redi-Fill requires no placing in lifts, and eliminates the need for compacting equipment and labor. Just back the Prestige truck up to the site and pour. Redi-Fill may be poured continuously or in several lifts. Redi-Fill will not settle over time. It’s stronger than soil and able to support pavement and other structures. 

Get-Set: is a cold weather concrete mix that speeds up set times by as much as 35%. Scheduling a pour and putting on an expensive crew and equipment only to have a cold front arrive is an uncontrollable act of nature. Set time for normal concrete with ambient temperatures between 45F – 65F can vary substantially and it could take as long as 6 hours to get your finishers working.Get-Set is the answer.

Shrink-Guard: is a crack-resistant low-shrink concrete mix that helps to eliminate cracking of concrete due to drying shrinkage. Curling will also be reduced, which is a major benefit when super flat surfaces are required. These reductions can be achieved without an extended wet cure, eliminating the need for costly construction delays. And, using ShrinkGuard will often increase the suggested spacing between joints to match column lines. Best of all, this performance can be achieved without any special placement or finishing requirements.

EZ-Max: ready-mixed concrete is designed to dramatically improve workability, finish and set time for residential flatwork. EZ-Max prevents the excess water that can cause segregation in the mix and deterioration of the surface. Prestige’s EZ-Max ready-mixed concrete saves you time placing, screeding and finishing flatwork resulting in a better smoother surface without adding water. Easier, faster floating and troweling, by hand or by machine, results in a smooth, close-tolerance surface with less machine time and less labor. The result is the highest quality concrete surface in the shortest time.

Because you can maintain up to an 8” slump with less bleed water, you can start finishing sooner with EZ-Max. Workability is maintained even with low w/c ratios. Improved dispersion characteristics and more complete hydration increases the compressive and flexural strength of EZ-Max concrete at all stages.
